About Us
Initiatives Worldwide specializes in structuring and financing entrepreneurial ventures, technology transfer, acquisitions, mergers, commercial land development, and nonprofit community-based services.
Initiatives Worldwide's principals were representatives for the NASA Mid-Continent Technology Transfer Center (MCTTC), one of NASA's six regional technology transfer centers, for several years. MCTTC reported directly to the NASA Johnson Space Center. In addition, Initiatives Worldwide linked companies and entrepreneurs to the 600 Federal Laboratories, other NASA Centers, universities, government agencies, private industry and capital sources, in the transfer and commercialization of technology.

Ms. Boysen's business consulting career spans 30 years of assisting with the development and successful management of diverse businesses. Much of her experience has been derived in her affiliate company, Boysen & Associates.
Ms. Boysen has been a guest speaker for numerous panels, seminars, and conferences on business planning, technology commercialization, venture capital funding, and economic development for communities and municipalities.
In addition to numerous awards, recognitions and articles, Melicent has been recognized annually since 1989 in Marquis' world library editions of Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World.
